Wrangle

Africa is renowned for its iconic savanna and woodland ecosystems. Popular media most frequently portrays Africa with images of flowing grass and sparse trees accompanied by plethora animals, such as zebra, wildebeest, giraffes, cheetahs and lions. Savanna and woodland systems are the most abundant plant systems in Africa covering over half of the continent. These systems comprise the majority of African rangelands where livestock production is often a critical component for local economies and livelihoods.
