Wrangle

Eurasia does not have a solid tract of desert like the Sahara of Africa, but it does have a large series of deserts extending from the Arabian Peninsula up to the Gobi Desert. Many basins within this southern extent are arid with little to no vegetation cover and interspersed within a matrix of vegetated mountains, foothills and plateaus.
