Wrangle

Savannas are not widely spread through Eurasia, with tropical savannas occurring only in India and the Arabian Peninsula and woodlands tending toward xeric, low vegetation cover conditions. Plant species distribution is dependent on elevation and latitude though species in genus such as Juniperus are common throughout. Primary concerns for these environments currently include deforestation, increasing agricultural pressures and climate change.
